Home Loan Financial Difficulties?

If you are unable to afford your mortgage payments and wish to avoid foreclosure, there may be options available to you. Each situation is unique, and must be reviewed individually to determine the best option. The options available to you depend largely on the type of loan you have, the condition and value of your property, and whether your loan has been sold or is held by the Bank.

Options may include a refinance or new financing. In determining which option is best suited to you, we will need to evaluate your individual circumstances such as the value and condition of your home, your current income, and your current expenses. If you decide to contact us and explore options to avoid foreclosure, please be prepared to provide the following:

  • Current pay stubs.
  • Your most recent tax return.
  • A list of balances owed to other creditors (e.g. credit cards, car loans, etc.).
  • Balance and payment information on any other loans secured by your home.
  • Current bank statements.
  • A current property valuation, or any other information you can provide that will help us determine the value of your property.

In some cases we will consider a loan “workout” or modification if it makes economic sense for both of us. To obtain further information or to discuss your loan with a mortgage loan officer, please call us at (707) 462-6613 or toll free at (866) 467-6860.

You may also contact HUD to locate a HUD-certified housing counseling agency in your area by calling the HUD automated system at (800) 569-4287 or by viewing the HUD website at www.hud.gov.
